IT'S ELECTRIC!

This summer, from 19 July until 31 August, Techniquest Science Discovery Centre in Cardiff Bay is hosting a sizzling new theme called 'It's Electric!' As well as brand new hands-on exhibits to explore, there will be exciting shows and workshops all on the theme of electricity. Take part in 'When Lightning Strikes', a fascinating Science Theatre show, where the experts will create some enormous sparks using almost 250,000 volts of electricity! Or, why not raise the roof in the 'Sounds Electric' Laboratory workshop, where you can explore electricity through music and even make your own microphone to take home.
As well as the 'It's Electric!' theme, star-gazers can look forward to amazing space presentations in the Planetarium. There will also be alternative Lab workshops during the summer, including 'CD Sizzlers' and 'Spectacular Space'. A visit to Techniquest is certain to make the sparks fly this summer!
