Girls and Boys Football Camps This Summer In Cardiff!
When: Tuesday 25th July 2006 -> Wednesday 2nd August 2006
Where: Cardiff University Sports Centre - Talybont Cardiff
Hitting Cardiff this summer Cardiff City Ladies F.C. will be running in conjunction with the Civil Service Sports Council (CSSC) - Girls and Boys football Camps:
Camp Brazil – 25th and 26th July - 2 day camp
Camp Mexico – 1st and 2nd August – 2 day camp
Camp Italy – 16th 17th August and 18th August – 3 day camp
Camp Argentina – 22nd 23rd and 24th August – 3 day camp
Camp Spain – 30th 31st August and 1st September – 3 day camp
The camps are aimed at children aged 7 -12, the majority of coaches will have played at international level. Backed by Cardiff City LFC the children will be coached according to their age groups and experience levels for the younger/less experienced it will be all about having fun with a football – football cricket, football snakes and ladders etc. The children can expect to build up their confidence levels.
For the older children the coaching will be focused at improving their football skills and give them ideas to practice after the camps.
This scheme is all part of Cardiff City LFC’s commitment to their work of providing football within schools and children in the community. Cardiff City LFC Club Coach Michele Adams said “This is a marvellous opportunity for children of all ages and abilities to come together and have fun with football this summer. As an added bonus they will be coached by international standard players and get the coaching to meet their specific needs and improve their skills”.
Each child will be provided with a soccer kit (shirt and shorts), medal and a certificate on the last day of each camp, with the cost being £25 for a 2 day camp and £37 for a 3 day camp.
