The forthcoming exhibition at BayArt shows a range of new work by two Cardiff sculptors, Mark Halliday and Caroline Taylor.
Mark Halliday has constructed objects for contemplation that explore the experience of the individual in relation to the material object. His sculptures, are made using low tech means and from simple materials.
Making references to the industrial structures found on the periphery of the city, along railway tracks and at the water’s edge, Caroline Taylor has constructed a set of sculptures that utilise a language she has developed, in part, from the commonalities of these forms.
Gallery open hours are Tuesday – Saturday 11am – 5pm
Exhibition continues until 30 September 06
