Cardiff Oxfam Group meeting
When: Monday 11th June 2007 - 8pm
Where: Glamorgan Councils Staff Club, Westgate Street, Cardiff City Centre (opposite the main entrance to the Millennium Stadium)
Cardiff Oxfam Group discuss global poverty issues, campaign actions, and ongoing projects and events which we hold to support Oxfam's work to overcome poverty and suffering.
Cardiff Oxfam Group has a range of plans for the near future. This week is an ideal opportunity for new members to join the group.
We are hoping that the Oxjam Cardiff coordinator will be able to join us so that we can have a Q&A sessions and discuss our plans for the Oxjam Music Festival which takes place in October.
This month we hope to campaign at a screening of "Black Gold" at Chapter Arts Cetnre and organise a picnic as part of "The Big Fair-trade Picnic" towards the end of the month.
A number of Oxfam Wales members are currently attending the G8 summit so we might be able to hear some further information on how successful the event was.
