Welsh Comedy Festival
When: Friday 6th July 2007 -> Sunday 15th July 2007
Where: Various venues across Cardiff and beyond
This summer will see the first Welsh Comedy Festival. The event promises to showcase some of the best current UK acts and local upcoming talent.
Already scheduled to appear are Howard Marks, Rhod Gilbert, Lloyd Langford, Bennett Aaron, Ian Cognito, Dirty Sanchez and Wes Packer.
The festival will also feature the finalists from the forthcoming prime time BBC TV series "Funny Business", which has been tracking down new Welsh comedy talent through a series of competitions around Wales.
The inaugural Welsh Comedy Festival is sponsored by Tidy magazine in aid of the charity Ty Hafan -The Children's Hospice In Wales, and will be running from 6th - 15th July 2007 at various venues and locations around Wales.
