Catriona McKay is respected as Scotland’s leading harpist due to her exceptional skill as a performer and versatile musician as well as her expertise on Scotland’s most ancient instrument, the clarsach.
Shetlander Chris Stout is widely-regarded as the leading fiddle player of his generation both in Scotland and beyond, a title he has earned through the plethora of musicians and bands he has collaborated with.
Having performed together for ten years, their performances are exciting, innovative, captivating and moving. Their recently issued first CD, Laebrack, was described by respected critic and musician Norman Chalmers as taking ‘their long-term instrumental partnership to new levels’
