Volunteer your skills overseas
VSO is an international development charity which works through volunteers and we're currently holding a number of information evenings, called 'Meet VSO', around the UK. The meetings are free to attend and are an informal introduction into volunteering overseas. You have the opportunity to find out more about the skills and experience we are looking for, the kind of placements we have available (from 4 weeks to 2 years) and you can also speak to staff and returned volunteers about the volunteering experience. We are looking for people from a wide range of backgrounds, from youth volunteers to professionals with at least 2 years experience in education, health, business, management, IT, communications, fundraising and more.
