When: Saturday 1st March 2008 - 11am - 4pm
Where: Cardiff Central Market, Trinity Street/St Mary Street, Cardiff, CF10 1AU
A visit to Cardiff Market is great at any time of the year – but come this St David’s Day and you can help a local charity too.
Stallholders and staff will don traditional Welsh outfits to raise money for the children’s hospice Ty Hafan.
They will be rattling Ty Hafan buckets and offering a daffodil or Welsh cake for a donation.
There will also be a chance to sample some Welsh mead and a competition to win tickets to see David Gray on Saturday, March 22 at St David’s Hall and a Welsh T-shirt.
All you have to do is buy something from one of the market stalls on Saturday and you’ll be given an entry form.
Simply fill in your name and address and put it in one of the ballot-style boxes at either entrance to the market.
