A committed human rights advocate, President Robinson places humanity at the forefront of her politics and has campaigned worldwide to ensure that human rights are not neglected during the process of globalization.

The lecture, part of the University’s 125th anniversary celebrations, is open to all and takes place on Friday 7 November at the Julian Hodge Building on Colum Drive.

Attendance is free of charge but entry to the event is strictly by ticket only. Tickets can be obtained from Sue Dentten (email: DenttenSE@cardiff.ac.uk or telephone: 029 2087 5356).

This high profile lecture is being held as a fitting tribute to Professor Hadyn Ellis CBE DSc (1945-2006), formerly Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Cardiff University, who played a significant role in establishing Cardiff as one of the leading research universities in the UK

A pre-lecture reception will commence at 18:45, followed by the lecture at 19.45.
