Tenovus the cancer charity is delighted to re-launch the popular event in the Welsh social calendar, The Tenovus Lovelight Candle Service, to be held in Llandaff Cathedral on December 6th 2008. Tickets cost £10 and can be purchased on 029 2076 8865.
The Lovelight Service celebrates, honours and helps us remember loved ones and friends. The congregation of around 400 Tenovus supporters will be entertained by the famous Treorchy Male Voice Choir and the Howell’s School Choir for a festive sing-a-long of Christmas carols.
Tenovus’s 2008 Lovelight Service will be a magnificent way to celebrate the festive season in the company of friends and family, and raise much needed funds for the charity to invest in cancer research, patient care and education. This joyous evening will directly help support those who personally struggle daily to live with cancer, and to contribute to society’s endeavour to face the challenge posed by cancer.
