See in the New Year with a free open air music concert - to be staged outside City Hall in Cardiff Civic Centre. There will also be a family funfair operating from 12 noon till 1am.
FUNHOUSE - 8.30pm-9.30pm
Local legends Funhouse are sure to get the night off on the right foot with their moonstomping mixture of Jamaican and British ska.
TARAN - 9.45pm-10.45pm
In the summer of 2008 Taran represented Wales at the Festival Interceltique in Brittany. Taking Welsh lullabies, hymns and folk tunes these great musicians blend bagpipes, fiddles, samples, loops and ancient Celtic poetry into a heady dancemix. Taran, whose name means 'thunder' in Welsh, are sure to whip up a storm.
ANDY ABRAHAM - 11.10pm-12 midnight
Bring in the new year with the X-Factor contestant who won the hearts of viewers with his incredible vocal talents and endearing personality. Andy will perform a selection of soul and motown classics including 'Me and Mrs Jones', 'The Tracks of My Tears' and 'This Ole Heart of Mine' as well as his eurovision hit 'Even If'. The perfect way to sing in the new year.
DON'T FORGET the Admiral FREE New Year's Eve Bus Service into and out of the city from 8pm - 2.30am approx.
