Jamie Jones is a real Ibiza success story. Falling in love with the island way back in 1998, he dedicated most summers to working the season, whilst partying and picking up DJ gigs where he could at the same time. For the majority of people, this would be as far as it went – but Jamie was determined to take music and DJing further.
Making connections and working consistently on his productions meant that when he gave his first track to Dan Ghenacia to listen to, the Freak n Chic boss snapped it up. Since then, he’s produced for Crosstown Rebels, Poker Flat, Cocoon, Get Physical and many other labels, as well as being in hot demand as a remixer. He now plays everywhere from clubs like DC10 and Fabric to festivals like Sonar – proving that when persistence and talent are combined, the sky’s the limit.
