Where: Cardiff Steiner Early Years Centre, 17-18 Iron Street, Adamsdown, Cardiff, CF24 0LL
Cardiff’s Steiner Early Years Centre is holding an Open Day on Saturday 9 May in Adamsdown, Cardiff. Everyone is encouraged to come along, look around, meet the teachers, talk to parents and find out more about Steiner Waldorf education. There’s storytelling and craft for children, coffee, tea and home made cakes for everyone.
The Centre is one of only two Steiner Waldorf education settings in Wales. It provides day care for children aged 3-7 and also runs Parent and Toddler groups at the Centre and in St Catherine’s Church Hall Canton.
Steiner Education is the largest and fastest growing independent school system in the world. Schools avoid formal teaching until the child is six or seven and teach in a family-like setting with an emphasis on creativity and imagination. Activities reflect the seasons and there is strong emphasis on nature and outdoor play.
Everyone is welcome. Just drop in, no need to book. For more information call 029 20190099 or visit www.cardiffsteiner.org.uk
