A slice of Latin dance and culture hits Cardiff's Zync Bar on Sunday 14 June for the very first Azucar Moreno night in town. Afro-Latin Dance Experience: salsa lessons 7pm-9pm followed by DJ Latino from 9pm-2am
The event - the first of a regular series - mixes Latin and African dance music, and is perfect for these hot summer nights.
Said David Eliseu Flor of promotion company SoulMotion: "Azucar Moreno - literally 'Brown Sugar' - will be a celebration of Latino dance in a friendly party atmosphere.
"If you like Salsa, Reggeaton, Kisomba - or want to learn - then this is the night for you. We will have Cuban salsa teachers on site from 7pm to 9pm, and DJ Latino from 9pm to 2am, so you can practice what you learn.
"It doesn't matter if you can dance or not. Just feel the intoxicating rhythms and join in the fun. What's more, entry is free, so it's got to be the best thing in town for a summery Sunday night!"
Everyone visiting Zync Bar, situation on the corner of St Mary Street with Mill Lane, is assured an entertaining evening, with a range of special Latin cocktails on offer all night. Doors open from 7pm until late.
