The Cardiff Blues take on Northampton Saints in the second of two pre-season friendlies at their new home, in the Cardiff City Stadium. Northampton Saints were the European Challenge Cup Winners in 2008/2009 season.
Leigh Halfpenny is expected to return to action in this fixture. If he does, he will be the first of the Cardiff Blues' 2009 Lions to return to action this season.
