Cardiff Blues play their first competitive match of the new season against Edinburgh, as they kick off their Magners League 09/10 campaign. It will also be the Cardiff Blues first competitive match at their new home, in the Cardiff City Stadium
Edinburgh finished second in last season's Magners League, so the Blues will have to up their game if they are to beat them. The Blues have lost both their pre-season friendly matches (against Leicester and Northampton), with two lacklustre performances.
New signing Sam Norton-Knight is set to make his first start for the Blues in this match.
