Light up the Night 2009

Take part in this candlelit sponsored walk and raise much needed funds for more nursing care for terminally ill cancer patients at the Marie Curie Hospice, Penarth
This is a two mile walk through the woodlands and ornamental Gardens at Dyffryn. Starting at 7pm on the avenue behind Dyffryn House you will follow the candlelit trail throughout the gardens taking in the breathtaking views and enjoying the atmosphere. THere will be entertainers along the route ranging from a guitar band to a dramatic interpretation in the woods. Everyone is welcome (although there are steps along the route so it's no suitable for wheelchair users) and to register please contact the fundraising office on 02920 426068. It's £10 for adults, £5 for children or a family ticket is £25 for two adults and two children.
We ask that walkers raise some sponsorship - if every walker raised £100 this would pay for the care of 30 patients in the Hospice for two full days.
