The Cardiff Blues will play their first ever match against an International team, when they take on Australia just four days before the Australians are due to play Wales. There is sure to be huge amount of interest in this match, which will be played at the new Cardiff City Stadium. It will possibly see the first full-house for the Blues at their new ground.
This game will be seen as a hark back to the good old days when touring teams would regularly play the Welsh regional sides during their tours. The Cardiff Blues also have a lot to live up to, because Cardiff RFC were undefeated in all six games against the Australians, notching up victories in 1908, 1947, 1957, 1966, 1975 and 1984. No pressure then!!
Tickets to this match will be priced as follows:
£20 Adults
£40 Family tickets (2x Juniors, 2x Adults)
£10 Students
£5 Juniors
Anyone with a season ticket for the Cardiff Blues will be pleased to hear that this game will be included as part of the package. Season ticket holders can also purchase additional tickets (immediately) should they require any.
Tickets will go on general sale to the public from 9am on Monday 26th October.
