The RWCMD Clarinet Convention will see clarinettists of all ages and abilities coming together at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff for our highly successful annual fun and enjoyable day.
Course leader Leslie Craven and co-leader Peter Fielding extend a warm welcome to clarinettists of all ages and abilities to join them in this fun and exciting day of music-making. With international soloist and Clarinet and Saxophone Society Chairman, David Campbell, joining the convention to provide an inspiring lunchtime concert and guest tutors Andrew Roberts, Alistar Logan, Tom Jackson and Rachel Ramos providing informative and exciting classes, this is an event not to be missed!
As always the Convention Clarinet Choir will be back to provide a friendly and relaxed environment to explore clarinet ensemble music, both old and new. The convention will culminate in a gala concert, giving the opportunity for participants of the choir to showcase the work of the day. RWCMD is pleased to welcome various trade stands from major industry companies.
The 2010 Clarinet Convention will be packed with activities from masterclasses to teaching advice and from inspiring concerts to trade stands and will provide the opportunity for all to come and take part in the professional and friendly environment on offer at the RWCMD.
