Bach Galore

Our Feast of Bach series opens with Rachel Podger performing with students of the Department of Historical Performance at the College in a programme of Bach’s masterpieces including the A minor and E Major violin concertos and three of the amazing Brandenburg Concertos.
Rachel Podger, Jane Hodge International Chair of Baroque Violin, is in great demand world-wide for her interpretations of Bach, Mozart and Haydn and we are very fortunate to have her as a professor here and to welcome her to direct this, our first concert in the Feast of Bach festival.
RWCMD students will then work with Rachel in the masterclass which follows the recital.
