In this programme we juxtapose music by Bach with works that seem to have exerted a strong influence on him.
Nowadays we tend to put Bach firmly in the spotlight but his musical style was influenced by many other composers whose works he acquired and studied voraciously. Today we glance at the broader context for his work.
