Classical Education Forum Day Course: The Athenian Parthenon and its Influence

This day school examines the architecture of the Parthenon in terms of shape, proportions, functions and decorative details. The course will cover the manufacturing and building processes involved in the construction of the Parthenon. There will be opportunity to examine the influence of the Parthenon in classical architecture and the decorative arts of the Renaissance, Baroque and Neo-Classical periods.
