Classical Education Forum Day Course: The Golden Age of Heroes
When: Saturday 15th May 2010 - 10am -3.30pm
Where: Ararat Centre, Whitchurch, Cardiff, CF14 1PT
This day school will introduce students to the heroes of the Celtic world and Anglo-Saxon England. Through reading texts (in translation), we will try to define what it is that made a hero, and how these ideas compare and contrast between Celtic and Anglo-Saxon cultures. No previous knowledge is assumed.
