Cool House 9th Birthday Party with DJ Sneak

Cool House are pleased to announce our 9th Birthday Celebrations and our first of series of parties back at Cardiff's most iconic music venue, The Coal Exchange.
The venue closed its doors to dance music fans in June 2007 with our own farewell party featuring Loco Dice and Slam in line with a major re-development of the building. That proposed scheme has now been placed on hold and we are very proud to welcome one of house music’s true pioneers for a well-overdue return: Chicago house legend DJ Sneak.
Self-proclaimed house gangster Sneak has helped shape the course of dance music since the early 90s; his early music influencing the likes of Daft Punk, Bassment Jaxx and Armand Van Helden. His signature sounds – funky filtered disco-influenced house and tough, jacking beats -have revolutionised and redefined house music for 15 years.
Having begun his Djing career in 1983, Sneak continues to be at the top of his game: his back to back sets with Ricardo Villalobos recently became the talk of the electronic music circuit and a barrage of top quality releases over the last two years have culminated with the release of his recent album 'House of House' on his own Magnetic Recordings label.
It means so much to Cool House to welcome Sneak and to be back in the Coal Exchange - the time, venue and guest are perfect for a truly memorable Birthday party. We hope you can join us. X
