Following on from the success of their recent album launch, Newport based 5 piece Spiridion will be supporting Blue Gillespie at The Globe, Cardiff.
Spiridion are an unsigned 5 piece band from Newport, Wales. The band consists of Ross Cocker (Vocals) Kevin Llewellin (Guitar) James Davies (Guitar) Chris Allison (Bass) and Phil Smith (Drums). After forming in 2005 the band have gigged across Wales, learning their craft and building their fan base in some of the most prestigious venues West of the Severn. Their debut EP “My Only Answer” released in 2007 helped the band to build a strong underground following. 2008 saw the band play a string of dates around the UK including a headline performance at The Point, a support slot for Stuart Cable's Killing for Company in the Cardiff International Arena, a slot at the 2009 Blue Rock festival and a main support show with London band “The Zico Chain”. The band recently released their debut album 'A Moment of Clarity' which is available from Amazon or to download on itunes.
