When: Friday 3rd December 2010 - 7.30pm
Where: Llandaff Cathedral, Llandaff, Cardiff, CF5 2LA
Llandaff Cathedral and the Welsh Sinfonia with the Welsh Sinfonia Chorus are combining to perform Handel’s Messiah. We hope very much that you will be able to join us for what will be a magical evening, recreating Messiah’s first performance in Dublin in 1742.
Not only is this a lovely way to begin the lead up to Christmas but the concert is raising funds for two causes very close to the heart of all who love and value our musical heritage and look to its future: the Llandaff Cathedral Organ Appeal and the Welsh Sinfonia’s work with emerging Welsh musicians
All the performers are donating their services:
The chamber orchestra; the guest soloists who include: Jenifer Walker Soprano, Joanne Thomas Mezzo, Jeremy Huw Williams Baritone and the conductor, Mark Eager, Welsh Sinfonia’s Artistic Director.
Tickets: £12 (Nave) or £8 (Side aisles) from:
St David’s Hall Box Office (029)20878442, or Garlands Florists, Llandaff High Street or
