A celebratory exhibition, marking the tenth anniversary of Butetown Artists Studios / BayArt, one of the most successful studio complexes in Wales.
Butetown Artists Studios and BayArt combine to form one of the most successful studio complexes in Wales. Artists include Iwan Bala, Jan Beeny, Dave Brook, Richard Cox, David Gould, Carol Hiles, Annie Giles Hobbs, Mary Husted, Dilys Jackson, Maggie James, Dave Knight, Phil Nicol, Will Roberts, Terry Setch, Emrys Williams, Sue Williams. All of these artists have exhibited nationally and internationally and include a Royal Academician, 3 gold medal winners from the National Eisteddfod of Wales and an artist who exhibited in the prestigious Artes Mundi prize exhibition.

BayArt is a two minute walk away from the Wales Millennium Centre, the Welsh Assembly Government and the waterside bars and restaurants of Cardiff Bay.
BayArt Gallery is an essential creative hub for the City of Cardiff. Probably the highest quality and artistically diverse venue in the City, run by artists for artists, it is attracting and showing the work of practitioners ranging from new graduates to seasoned artists of considerable standing’ BayArt Gallery also creates ‘a cultural space where people from all walks of life can appreciate art and participate in art based activities’.
During the past ten years 53 exhibitions have been held at Bay Art, with over 30,000 visitors. The gallery has been nominated twice as A Top Five gallery in the UK.Over 4,000 schoolchildren and students have visited BayArt and taken part in a range of workshops, lead by artists. The Creative Arts Support Team, part of Cardiff Councils Schools and Lifelong Learning Service awarded an Arts Mark Cardiff award in 2009.
