Sinfonia Cymru with Catrin Finch

The internationally celebrated Welsh harpist, Catrin Finch will be performing as a soloist alongside the orchestra. Catrin’s harp will replace the usual guitar role used in Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez; one of his most popular and recognised works.
The concert programme follows two well-known classical era pieces, starting with Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, a rhythmic and defiant work. Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez’s popular and accessible music offers audiences a contemporary component at the mid-point of this exhilarating programme. Schubert’s Symphony No.3 in D Major providing the grand finale to the entertainment, with its grand and infectious classical rhythms.
