Bogiez Quiz-night of ROCK
When: Tuesday 28th June 2011 - 8pm-11pm
Where: Bogiez Rock Bar and Nightclub, Kingsways, Cardiff CF10 2FD
So, think you're pretty ROCK do ya? Reckon your knowledge of the dark-side is above and beyond all others?
If so, then it's time for you to put your brain where your mouth is, and get yourself (together with some like-minded friends) to the first Bogiez Quiz-night of ROCK on Tuesday June 7th from 8pm.
No entry fee, nor any fees for teams to enter the quiz, and FABULOUS PRIZES to be won (beer, and lots of it - you don't get more fabulous than that) for the team that comes in first place.
So, time to start ranking your friends in order of their rocktastic knowledge, assemble your team and get down for a night of rock trivia, musical merriment and quizzical delights.
The quiz will be spread over six rounds, four based upon questions, a picture round and a music-recognition round so you're all sure to be specialists in some areas. It promises to be one hell of a laugh to boot so what better way to spend a Tuesday evening!
Round One: Tombstone - Questions for the classics!
Round Two: Hammer'd - Questions for the new breed of rock!
Round Three: Music recognition round.
Round Four: weekly GUEST Round - each week the theme will be something different. From some of the other Bogiez nights, to any other crazy subjects our quizmaster thinks up after a bottle or ten. And no, we won't be saying what it is in advance.
Round Five: Rock general Knowledge.
Round Six: Picture round (which will be running throughout all other rounds)
Max six people per team and the quiz will kick off sometime after 8pm once all teams are ready to go so make sure you're in on time. Bonus points will probably be awarded to the best team-names as well so get your thinking caps on in advance! Anyone spotted cheating using an mobile phone will be expected to buy every other team a pint...
Team leaderboards will also be drawn up as the weeks go on, and the team with the highest score at the end of 2011 will win an absolutely HUGE prize (and no doubt a lot of beer in the process during the year to boot!).
