Save Our Cardiff Reservoirs Walk
When: Saturday 3rd September 2011 - 7.30am - 8pm
Where: Pontcanna Cardiff, Scout Hall, Pontcanna Fields, Cardiff
Fundraising walk along the Nant Fawr River Corridor to help save it from development.
Save Our Cardiff Reservoirs Walk. 3rd September 2011. Organised by volunteers from the Reservoir Action Group.
Starts at the Scout Association Hut, Fields Park Road, Pontcanna Fields, Cardiff. Choose one of Five routes from 3 miles to 21 miles. Longer routes use the Nant Fawr River Corridor passing Llanishen and Lisvane Reservoirs. Walk routes minimise walking on roads. Cost of registration varies from £2.50 (reduced) for 3 mile walk to £7.50 (full) for 21 mile walk.
Registration fee includes light refreshments at the end of your walk. Participants are welcome to raise money for other causes and will be awarded a certificate at the end of their chosen route.
