Lets make it a day to remember. Taking place in the beautiful Bute Park, the Cardiff Memory Walk is a great way to give something back to your community. All the money raised will help provide services for people living with dementia, and their carers. The day will include entertainment and refreshments, with the walk itself scheduled to begin at 11.30 a.m.
On September 18th 2011 The Alzheimer's Society will be holding a sponsored walk in Bute Park to raise funds for the fight against dementia.
There will be a choice of two routes, one 3km, one 10km, both taking in the natural beauty and wildlife of Bute Park and the River Taff.
Registration is free, and each registered participant will get a free T-Shirt and goody bag to thank them for their fundraising efforts.
Before, after, and during the walk there will be live music, refreshments, circus performers, bouncy castles and much more, ensuring that Memory Walk 2011 really will be an unforgettable day for all the family!
The day will begin at 9.30 a.m. Walkers will be able to pick up their T-Shirts from this time onwards. The walk will begin at 11.30 a.m. The post-walk entertainment and refreshments will continue until approximately 4.30 p.m.
