53 paintings per 35 people: this is the new summer exhibition at The Gate, the Open Exhibition. As the title tells, it’s an exhibition opened to everyone, in which the only request feature was loving art.
The Gate gave to new, but unknown artists and normal people with painting as their hobby, the opportunity to show their works in a real Gallery from the 21st of July till the 13th of August.
The result has been a huge variety of artworks with different themes and subjects, different styles and a different way to see and interpret things. Beautiful paintings inspired to past artists or just to people’s interiority and mentality, that haven’t anything to envy to more famous ones. Being unknown doesn’t mean not having talent!!
You can see this unusual exhibition, completely free, from the 21st of July to the 13th of August. And, if you are interested in a painting, you can buy it! Works are put up for sale for which The Gate takes a 30% commission fee on pieces sold.
