Guitarist Julian Byzantine studied with the legendary Andrés Segovia, so his playing is drenched in the great Spanish classical tradition.
This gloriously sunny lunchtime concert celebrates that tradition with 45 minutes of glowing melodies and deep passion from composers who define Spanish guitar music: Albeniz, Granados and Saiz de la Maza. In Byzantine’s hands expect Iberian warmth in the depths of winter.
