Conquering the Antarctic

This landmark concert tour celebrates the expedition of Captain Scott to the South Pole through music, images and words.
Leading UK orchestra City of London Sinfonia perform music from the iconic film score Scott of the Antarctic interspersed with moving readings from Scott's diary and letters, along with the world preimere of Cecilia McDowall's new piece. A stunning selection of Herbert Ponting's original expedition photos will be shown during Ralph Vaughan Williams' Sinfonia Anartica.
