The Welsh Unsigned Stand-up Award (WUSA) Final Sponsored by The Glee Club proves to be an amazing event showcasing the very best unsigned talent Wales has to offer.
60 comedians have participated in 8 heats staged at Chapter Arts Centre, starting in March. And now 6 will fight it out in front of a judging panel of three industry professionals for a £1000 paid weekend at The Glee Club, a spot supporting Omid Djalili at the Cardiff Comedy Festivals Grand Finale at St. David’s Hall and of course the fabled 'Purple Fez'.
This year we also have last year's winner Matt Rees returning to perform a special set and the whole thing will be compered by Johnny Disco.
