If you're looking for a great day out, why not head down to 10 Feet Tall on the 14th June? From 1pm to 6pm, this corner of Cardiff will be transformed into the magical Ankh-Morpork Market.
As well as a variety of stalls selling the very best in handmade crafts, vintage clothing and local produce, any Terry Pratchett fans will be treated to a number of stalls selling unique themed crafts straight out of the Discworld!
For only £1 entry you also get the chance to bid in our secret auction; with prizes donated by local companies. Simply submit your bid on paper, and you could be dining for free in the city's best restaurants, getting your hair done at a local salon or eating free Magic Wraps!
The Discworld theme continues into the auction; with an exclusive signed book up for grabs, you'd be a fool to miss it. Whilst making your purchases you can enjoy the live music available from our wonderful local bands.
Feeling guilty for frivolous spending in a time of recession? Never fear, this is a fundraising event for Monstrous Productions, a theatre company dedicated to performing Pratchett in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK. What’s more, Barclays have offered to match the profits we raise, so the more you spend, the more we can give to help beat Alzheimer's.
So, come on down to 10 Feet Tall on the 14th of June, and you can experience the magic of Ankh-Morpork for yourself, and at the same time, raise money for a good cause. Even C.M.O.T. Dibbler wouldn’t say no to that.
