Legendary reggae and dub artist plays special Welsh show
Lee "Scratch" Perry - Glee Club Cardiff, Sunday 28th October
Lee "Scratch" Perry is a legendary reggae and dub artist and producer. He is a Grammy award-winner, and has been highly influential in the development and acceptance of reggae and dub music in Jamaica and overseas.
He employs numerous pseudonyms including 'Pipecock Jaxxon' and 'The Upsetter', and has produced music for a long list of musicians, including Bob Marley. Arguably the first creatively driven "artist-producer" in modern recorded music, Lee "Scratch" Perry occupies the highest level of music making - standing comfortably next to pioneers like George Martin, Phil Spector, and Brian Wilson.
