As another busy year draws to a close, Act One Theatre Company's most talented performers will come together to bring you an evening of variety in aid of Cancer Research UK. From Monty Python to Grease, from musical bellybuttons to sword fighting extravaganzas; we present possibly the most diverse evening of entertainment that you have ever witnessed.
In addition to the heady brew of comedy, theatre and song, you will also experience the warm glow of a little philanthropy. Every penny from the sale of your ticket goes straight to supporting the ground-breaking work of Cancer Research UK.
During the interval we will be holding a raffle, where you will have the chance to complement this warm glow with a variety of exciting prizes donated by local businesses. You will also have the chance to watch, and laugh, as one of our members foolishly shaves of all his hair for the very same cause.
The bar will remain open all evening, serving drinks at prices not to be sneezed at. As the curtain comes down on another year, you will have some time to mingle with performers and audience-members alike, and make the absolute most of those reasonably-priced beverages. So please, join us for an evening of good entertainment, good company and good causes.
