Visiting orchestra from California in concert with Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra
A brief visit to Wales in their tour of the UK which also includes concerts in Edinburgh (St Giles Cathedral), Liverpool (St Edward’s School) and London (St Barnabas Church of Ealing). The orchestra, led by Conductor Michael Neumann, will perform a programme including Sibelius’ Finlandia, Smetana’s Die Moldau, Mendelssohn’s The Hebrides, Wagner’s Die Meistersinger, the final movement from Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony and “Pirates of the Caribbean”. There will be an opportunity to meet and welcome the orchestra after the concert.
