Wales Unsigned Stand-up Award - a search to find Wales' best unsigned stand-up. Sponsored by The Glee Club.
WUSA, sponsored by The Glee Club, is a competition that’s been running since 2009 and aims to find the best unsigned Welsh or Welsh based comedian around. Heats run from March at Chapter Arts Institute and 60 competitors are whittled down to 18 for the semi finals.
Compered by Paul James and featuring a performance from last year's winner Jordan Brookes, 6 contestants battle it out for £1000 prize plus a spot supporting Alan Davies at the WMC, a photo shoot, a paid weekend at The Glee, an interview on Rhod Gilbert's radio show and the coveted Purple Fez!
