The Color Festival

The 'Color Festival', which has visited cities across Europe for the last two summers, is finally coming to the UK with Cardiff named as its flagship city.
The event is set to take place on the 14th June 2014, 2pm-10pm at the infamous Splott Market, a Cardiff landmark, which will be transformed on the day into a playground for festivalgoer, with timed colour bag throwings.
The line-up consists of BBC Radio 1 heavyweight Annie Mac! With support from The Golden Boy, who has remodelled the various strains of UK bass into a master class style of his own, and Bristol based Redlight, who has brought us jet-propelled bangers like 'Get Out My Head' and 'Lost In Your Love'. SecondCity, one of the most talked about newcomers in electronic music, will also be making his Cardiff festival début at the vibrant event.
Locally sourced suppliers will provide food and drink on the day, with a variety of choices including Bar 44’s Tapas Street Kitchen and huge bar serving beers, ciders, spirits and mixers.
The Color Festival has toured in 18 locations in Germany and Kingston, the largest city in Jamaica. Similar events have also taken place in India and New York. This event is a UK first.

There will be no tickets available on the door and the event is strictly 18+.
Dress code: WHITE.
Colour bags and merchandise will be available to purchase on the day.
The venue will provide full cover, so even if the Welsh weather attempts to let things down on the day, the party and colour will certainly continue!
