Red Dragon Centre Launches ‘RDC Eco Kids’

Cardiff Bay’s premier entertainment destination, The Red Dragon Centre, will be launching its brand new initiative to raise awareness of plastic pollution at the centre on Thursday 31st May.
‘RDC Eco Kids’ will be formed of a series of thrilling learning activities throughout the year focussing on different environmental themes to help encourage the younger generation to think green.
To kickstart the scheme, in partnership with Eggseeds, Pedal Emporium and Re-create, drop-in activities will take place on 31st May at the Centre between 12-4pm including upcycling plastic waste to pedal powered entertainment. And the timing couldn’t be more perfect with the Volvo Ocean Race Stopover also sailing into Cardiff Bay between 27th May – 10th June and their campaign pledge to turn the tide on plastics.
To coincide with the launch event, Eggseeds will also be revealing its very first Eco Dragon, made entirely of recycled materials, which will be installed outside the Centre during May half term. Come along and have a play!
