It's Electric!

From 19 Jul until 31 August 2003, Techniquest Science Discovery Centre in Cardiff Bay will be hosting a sizzling summer theme called 'It's Electric!' As well as brand new exhibits to explore, visitors can take part in 'When Lightning Strikes', an exciting new Science Theatre show, where the presenters create some giant sparks using almost 250,000 volts of electricity! Or, raise the roof in the 'Sounds Electric' Lab workshop. There will be alternative Lab workshops throughout the summer, including 'CD Sizzlers' and 'Spectacular Space'. If the mysteries of space intrigue you, visit the Planetarium and take part in 'Mars' a show that explores the fascinating red planet. Youngsters will enjoy 'Meet the Planets', a storytime session for under-7's. A visit to Techniquest is sure to make the sparks fly this summer!
