This chain pub is very popular with students, due to its close proximity to Cardiff University and the fact that it runs a student loyalty card scheme.
The Woodville is part of the Scream brand of pubs. These pubs all operate a Yellow Card loyalty scheme that is available to students for an annual fee. Using their Yellow cards students can get discounts off food and drink.
As you can imagine, the clientele is therefore mainly made up of students! Overall, a good pub with a very relaxed and easy-going feel to it. From what I remember they have a very good jukebox, which is probably down to the student influences.
