Burger Heaven! If you love burgers and have a big appetite, this is the place for you.
Diner 77 is a small, American restaurant in Pontcanna, just off Cathedral Road. It's open seven days a week and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's quite a popular place so book in advance if you plan to visit of an evening.
The menu is simple but varied with lots of meat dishes including chicken, steak and the house speciality…the BURGER. Choose from an amazing variety, which includes, Hawaiian, Mexican, Bacon and BBQ to name but a few. The portions are huge by anyone's standards and one portion of fries will be more than enough for two people. The desserts look delicious but I've never managed to make it that far! Prices are very reasonable at around £6 - £8 for a main course.
The restaurant style and décor is as you would imagine it to be: informal and friendly, with plastic tablecloths and Hollywood portraits on the walls. Perfect for families.
