Chiquito is a Mexican restaurant offering a huge range of Mexican dishes, including traditional fajitas, chimichangas, burritos and wraps, as well as a selection of BBQ dishes, steaks and burgers. Something for everyone really.
Chiquito opened fairly recently in the Brewery Quarter off St Mary Street, just around the corner from the central bus station. It is spacious and lively with typical Mexican décor and music.
The portions are large and prices range from £6.50 - £12.95 for main courses. If you want something lighter you can order salads and sandwiches for around £7-£8. They offer a good range of starters including lots of platters to share and there are plenty of vegetarian options on offer too. The children's menu will set you back £3.95 but for this they will also keep your kids entertained by giving them pictures to colour in. If they're good enough they can even win a prize!
The restaurant is open Monday to Sunday for both lunch and dinner (Mon-Sat 12 -11pm and Sun 12 – 10.30pm). If you want, you can just call in for a drink as they offer a good selection of cocktails and shooters.
