Fish, Chips, Mushy Peas, what more is there to say? Forget your fusion cuisine, pacific-rim flavours and mediterranean twists - this is real British grub with no frills attached!
Fish: good
Chips: good
Bread and Butter: good
There really is little else to say about Harry Ramsdens. The clientele are normally either young families or those of advancing years so it's probably not the ideal venue for a first date or romantic anniversary. However, Harry is good value and generous with the portions so it's great for a quick bite to eat when you're visiting the Bay in the afternoon or evening.
Harry Ramsdens is also famous for it's Opera Evenings. About once a month, you can enjoy your fish and chips whilst being serenaded by live performers who are often members of the renowned Welsh National Opera company. These evenings are popular with groups and societies so you have to book in advance to be sure of a table.
