The RWCMD honours the fiftieth anniversary of the death of one
of the UK’s greatest composers with a performance of his spectacular Sea Symphony. This much-loved work has become Vaughan Williams’ most famous
Symphony. It is a four-movement setting of words by the revolutionary American poet, Walt Whitman, and is scored for huge orchestra, chorus and soloists.
