Cardiff University's 125th Anniversary Gala Concert

Founded by Royal Charter in 1883, Cardiff University celebrates its 125th Anniversary in 2008. As part of the year-long celebration, there will be festivals, exhibitions, concerts, lectures and conferences to reflect the enormous breadth and variety of activities at the University. A Gala Concert will be just one of the many highlights this year.
Compered by BBC Presenter Huw Edwards, the Concert will feature performances by the University's critically acclaimed Cardiff International Academy of Voice, the Cardiff School of Music, the Orchestra of Welsh National Opera and other contributors. Renowned Welsh tenor Dennis O'Neill CBE, as Director of the Academy, will also perform, alongside friends in the operatic and classical world.
