The Speculator

The play follows the piquaresque journey of 17 year old Lord Islay of Islay to Paris 1720, where he meets John Law, the richest and most powerful man in Europe and the great speculator of the age whose banking schemes are on the verge of complete collapse. The play is bold, theatrical, cheeky and extremely relevant and up to date.
